Amorita Resort | Luxury Resort in Alona Beach, Panglao Island

Amorita Resort is a 5 star luxury resort situated at the far end of Alona Beach in Panglao Island, Bohol. 

It has 98 private villas and suites. The resort area was spacious and covered with dense trees and plants. The villas, buildings and pools were purposefully placed in harmony with nature.

Our accommodation in Amorita Resort was a one bedroom suite with sea view. The design is minimalist and modern. The 80 sqm suite includes a room with a queen sized bed,

dining area and sala,

bathroom with a tub

and a veranda overlooking Saffron Restaurant and a partial view of Bohol sea.

Amorita Resort has 2 infinity pools. The first one is at the welcome lounge. This infinity pool has an amazing view of Alona Beach.

The other one is in front of Saffron Restaurant.

Amorita Resort has a beach access to Alona Beach. There’s a life guard on duty that will help will all your needs related to the water activities. This include a free use of kayaks, stand up paddle, masks and fins. The lifeguard will even guide you to the snorkeling spot for free.

There are 3 restaurants in Amorita Resort: Saffron Restaurant, The Lost Cow and Tomar Tapas X Bar.

Saffron Restaurant is the main restaurant of Amorita Resort. They serve Filipino and International favorites.

The Lost Cow is an American Chophouse.

Unfortunately, we haven’t tried Tomar Tapas X Bar. Hopefully on our next visit.

Amorita Resort also has an in-house spa, Sea Tree Spa. The services they offer are based from traditional Filipino techniques using locally sourced ingredients.

Aside from what I mentioned above, Amorita Resort also has a gym, a regular yoga sessions, an archery range and a secluded cove.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Amorita Resort. We really liked the tropical landscape, the relaxed atmosphere, plus the world class service of their staff. This was truly a luxury experience in one of the most expensive destination in Philippines.

Recommendations: Amorita Resort is the best option if you are looking for a luxury retreat. Plus the service the staff of Amorita Resort is world class.

Tip: The rooms of Amorita Resort already includes complimentary coffee, juices and snacks. They also refill these items upon request.
