DEARBROS. | Omurice Restaurant in Namba, Osaka

For our first meal in Japan. We’ve tried DEARBROS. for dinner in Osaka, a small omurice restaurant situated in Chuo Ward, Sennichimae. The restaurant offers a limited number of al fresco seating. The open kitchen setup allows guests to see how the food is prepared.

DEARBROS. only uses fresh meat in their dishes, complemented by a special teriyaki sauce. Their best-sellers are Wagyu Beef Teriyaki Omurice and Kakuni Teriyaki Omurice. In addition, they also offer various curry selections and fried dishes, which comes in different serving sizes as well.

In this experience, we’ve tried two of their dishes: the Kakuni Teriyaki Omurice.

We also got the Fried Chicken Teriyaki Omurice.

I really liked the combination of the melt-in-your-mouth braised pork, the fluffy omelet and the homemade teriyaki sauce.

Recommendation: Kakuni Teriyaki Omurice

Tip: Order a local beer or a lemon sour to complement the omurice.
