Nuvali

Nuvali is one of our go-to places in the south for food trips, coffee runs, shopping, and a relaxed day out. Whether you're looking for a restaurant to try, a café to spend a few hours in, or somewhere to bring the family, there's plenty to explore around Nuvali and Ayala Malls Nuvali (Solenad).

I've visited the area many times, so this guide brings together the restaurants, cafés, and places we've tried, along with practical tips to help you plan your visit. I'll keep adding to this page as we discover more spots around Nuvali.

Nuvali isn't just about dining. You can spend time around the lake (ongoing restoration), explore the shopping and dining areas, or make a day of visiting nearby attractions. Your itinerary can be as simple as a coffee stop and lunch, or a longer day out with the family.

  • Plan a coffee or restaurant crawl

  • Look into nearby family-friendly activities

Shopping and Places to Explore

Ayala Malls Nuvali is one of the main places to start when exploring Nuvali, particularly if you want to combine shopping, dining, and a walk around the area. Since Nuvali continues to develop, check current mall directories and announcements before visiting if you're looking for a specific store or newly opened establishment.

Visiting Nuvali with a Baby

Ayala Malls Nuvali is a nice place for a family day out, especially if you want to enjoy a meal, grab some coffee, and do a little shopping. Just keep in mind that much of the area is open-air, so it can get pretty hot and humid, especially around midday and during the summer months.

If you're bringing a baby, a stroller is handy if you plan to walk around the area, but don't forget to bring a portable fan and an umbrella for extra shade. Most restaurants we've visited also have high chairs available, which makes dining with a little one more convenient.

One thing I appreciate about Ayala Malls Nuvali is that it has several baby-changing stations and nursing rooms. Most of the restrooms we've used are also spacious, which is helpful when you're out with a baby and carrying extra bags.

My advice? Keep your itinerary simple. A meal, a coffee stop, and a short walk around Nuvali may be all you need for a relaxed family day out.

Where to Stay in Nuvali

If you're coming from outside the area or want to turn your visit into an overnight staycation, consider looking at hotels and accommodations around Nuvali and nearby Santa Rosa.

Compare location, parking, room amenities, and access to the places you plan to visit before booking.

I’ll continue adding recommendations here soon.

How to Get to Nuvali

Nuvali is in the Santa Rosa area of Laguna and is accessible by car from Metro Manila. Your route and travel time will depend on where you're coming from and traffic conditions.

By Car:

The fastest route based from experience is to exit at Mamplasan, take CALAX and exit at Nuvali or Sta. Rosa.

Public Transportation:

If you're taking public transportation, check the latest bus and point-to-point schedules before leaving. Routes, fares, and departure points may change, so confirm the details with the operator.

If you’re around Manila, the most convenient option is to take the P2P in One Ayala.

Practical Tips for Visiting Nuvali

  • Plan where to park: Ayala Malls Nuvali covers a wide area, so think about which restaurants or shops you want to visit first.

  • Prepare for the weather: Some areas are open-air and can feel hot and humid during the day.

  • Expect crowds during peak hours: Weekends and holidays can be busier, especially around popular restaurants.

  • Check pet policies: If you're bringing a pet, confirm the rules with the specific restaurant or establishment.
