Tsokolateria Artisinal Café is a unique café known not just for a cup of hot Tsokolate but also for its creative fusion dishes that incorporate the flavors of cocoa. One of our go-to cafés in Tagaytay and last 26 September 2023, Tsokolateria opened a branch in Greenbelt 5, Makati.

2. Rumba

Rumba, a newly opened Mediterranean restaurant situated at The Shops in Ayala Triangle, is part of the Bistronomia. Bistronomia, is a collection of boutique Spanish restaurants under The Bistro Group umbrella. The inspiration behind Rumba’s concept came from Chef Alfredo Rodriguez Sangrador, who also serves as the Head Chef of Bistronomia.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER IN MAKATI

  • Sometimes, walking is the most ideal way of exploring Makati.

  • Aside from malls, there are parking facilities within Makati.

  • For street parking, there are designated parking slots and time frame. Be sure to be aware of this to avoid fines.

  • If you are going to Makati via public transportation, there are designated unloading area especially in the main business district. You may need to walk to get to your destination.

MAKATI TIPS

  • Check your credit cards or follow your favorite food establishments in Facebook for restaurants promotions, dining discount and happy hours.

  • Schedule your visit during off peak to avoid traffic and crowded restaurants.

  • Best to plan ahead and make table reservations if possible to avoid:

    • queuing in peak hours

    • It can be challenging to drive around Makati in search of a dining spot, particularly when there’s heavy traffic.
