Nanyang is a Singaporean coffee shop chain serving authentic Singaporean dishes in Philippines. Currently, operating with more than 20 branches nationwide. While we’ve tried several Nanyang branches, for this blog, we will focus on their Ayala Triangle branch.
Nanyang also offers popular Singaporean dishes, toasts, coffee and tea.
Like a true Singaporean coffee shop, Nanyang serves traditional Singaporean breakfast. It includes a Kaya toast, 2 boiled eggs and Kopi.
For the Singaporean dishes, the first in the list is the Hainanese Chicken Rice. It comes with soup, rice, vegetables and their signature dipping sauce.
The Homemade Nasi Lemak of Nanyang comes with fried chicken chops plus the standard sides: sambal, egg, anchovies, peanut and sliced cucumber.
We’ve also tried the Curry Chicken with Rice. You can pair it with toast, but for me, curry is always best with rice.
I’ve also sampled Nanyang’s Iced Kopi Melaka. While it was good, I prefer the traditional iced Kopi. I’ve mentioned Melaka, it is a historic city of Malaysia. Here’s a preview of Melaka.
If you are craving for Singaporean cuisine, Nanyang is worth considering. They serve delicious Singaporean dishes in generous serving at a reasonable price. Nanyang is also pretty accessible, with branches in most malls within the metro and few in the provinces.
Recommendation: Hainanese Chicken Rice, Iced Kopi
