Cavite
Tagaytay getaways, Silang restaurants, cafés, staycations and places worth exploring around Cavite.
Cavite is one of those places we can visit without planning a long trip from Manila. Sometimes it's for a weekend staycation in Tagaytay, sometimes it's to try a new restaurant in Silang, and sometimes it's simply a road trip with a few food stops along the way.
I've been visiting Tagaytay since I was young. I still remember when it had more of a sleepy-town vibe, with more trees than buildings along Aguinaldo Highway. A lot has changed since then, but it's still one of the places I enjoy returning to.
I've also explored Silang, particularly its restaurants and cafés along the Sta. Rosa–Tagaytay Road. It's worth looking beyond Tagaytay if you enjoy finding new places to eat and stopping by somewhere different during a road trip.
This page brings together my Cavite travel guides, restaurant reviews, café finds and accommodation experiences. Most of my current articles are around Tagaytay and Silang, and I'll continue adding more as we explore other parts of the province.
