For our Seoul winter trip, we stayed for 5 days and 5 nights at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun.
Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun is a 4-star hotel under Marriott International, conveniently located along Namdaemun Street, near Namdaemun Market and close to Myeongdung Street.
Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun offers a range of hotel amenities, including three restaurants, meeting spaces and a gym. The main restaurant is MoMo Café, which serves international cuisine and is where the buffet breakfast is offered.
On the same floor, near the reception, is MoMo Lounge & Bar.
The third one is 22nd Namdaemun Bakery, a high-end bakery and café located on the 22nd floor, offering a great view of the Namsam Tower.
The hotel features a modern and upscale interior throughout. Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun offers around seven room types. Our tour package included a Premier 2 Twin room. This is a 27 sqm room has two twin beds, one table and two chairs, and the standard room amenities.
The room includes a separate toilet and bath. Yes, guest has the option to choose if they want the shower visible from the room :D
One thing I noticed was that during our late-night arrival, a few hours after midnight, there was no staff available to assist us from the entrance to the reception area. I had to look for a trolley and bring our luggage to the room myself. Aside from this minor inconvenience, our overall stay was pleasant and comfortable.
