On our last night in Seoul, our tour included a dinner at Gosire Korean BBQ restaurant, a popular Korean BBQ restaurant in Myeongdong known for its high-quality charcoal-grilled meats.
The restaurant has a decent dining space and a lively atmosphere. During our visit, it was packed with locals, a good sign that the food is worth trying. However, during peak hours, the place can feel a bit cramped.
While Gosire Korean BBQ Restaurant is well-known for its marinated beef short ribs, they also offer a wide selection of traditional Korean dishes, including soups, stews, noodles and other local favorites.
Since our dinner was part of a tour package, we were given only two options: pork or beef. We chose the pork belly option for the full Korean BBQ experience. The beef option, on the other hand, included Galbitang or a beef short ribs soup.
Our pork belly set came with the typical Korean BBQ side dishes, such as kimchi, potato salad, etc. These side dishes were refillable, although it took a while to replenish them.
I also noticed that their staff seemed less friendly during our visit. They might been busy service customers. Aside from that, I still enjoyed the food we tried.
We were not able to fully explored everything at Gosire Korean BBQ Restauranthas to offer, our dining experience served as a good introduction to the restaurant. Overall, it can still be a good option if you are craving authentic Korean BBQ in Myeongdong.
