Ediya Coffee Bank of Korea

Ediya Coffee was the first local coffee shop we’ve tried during our Seoul trip. The branch we visited was Ediya Coffee Bank of Korea, located along Namdaemun Street near Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun. The branch was small and packed during our visit, which I consider a good sign that we were in the right place.

Ediya Coffee offers a wide selection of coffee, tea and seasonal drinks, along with pastries and desserts.

We ordered two drinks and one dessert. The Cold Brew, I like its smooth and balanced flavor, which felt more refreshing than strong. It costs ₩4,200, which was cheaper compared to other coffee shops.

We also ordered a Lemon Iced Tea (forgot to take photo of this drink :D), which costs ₩3,200, the iced tea was light and refreshing. And a slice of the Devil’s Chocolate Cake which costs ₩5,000 won. It was decent but nothing special.

Ediya Coffee is an ideal spot for your daily caffeine fix when traveling in South Korea especially if you’re on a budget.

Recommendation: Cold Brew. Ediya Coffee is known for its coffee, making its other coffee-based drinks worth trying as well
