As part of our Seoul tour package, lunch was served at The San Korean Restaurant, located near the Namsam Cable Car Station.
The San Korean Restaurant is a Korean restaurant near Namsam Seoul Tower, best known for its pork cutlet and bibimbap.
The San Korean Restaurant features a Korean house design with multiple dining section and a spacious main dining area. There is also an al fresco seating area. Despite having several dining spaces, the restaurant can get quite crowded during peak hours.
The San Korean Restaurant offers a well-curated menu, focusing only on bibimbap, pork and fish cutlet and selection of side dishes.
Our tour package already included our meal, which was the Pork Cutlet Bibimbap. The set comes with their signature wild bibimbap, a pork cutlet, rice and a soup. The dishes were nicely presented, and the meal itself was enjoyable. The Pork Cutlet Bibimbap is the ideal choice as it combines the restaurant’s two best-sellers, making it a perfect introduction to The Sans Restaurant.
This was my first time trying bibimbap and I really enjoyed the combination of bibimbap and pork cutlet. The San Korean Restaurant is definitely a must-try restaurant near Namsam Seoul Tower.
Recommendation: Pork Cutlet Bibimbap
Tip: I haven’t tried it personally, but the Crispy Chives Pancake is said to be one of the best-sellers of The San Korean Restaurant
