Our tour package included an all-you-can –eat sushi buffet at Dining One for our dinner on our third day of the Seoul trip.
Dining One is a popular Korean-Japanese buffet restaurant in Seoul, known for its extensive selection of sushi, sashimi and marinated seafoods. Established in 2013, Dining One has five branches across Seoul, along with numerous location nationwide, making it a go-to spot for sushi lovers looking for a value-for-money buffet experience.
We visited the Sangam Branch, located at Basement 1, 80 Maebongsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The restaurant features a specious rectangular layout. One side is dedicated exclusively to sushi, sashimi and marinated seafood, while the other side showcases a variety of popular Korean dishes and international favorites. Although the floor area is large, the table arrangement felt slightly cramped during peak hours.
As Dining One is well-known for its sushi buffet, I focused on trying as many sushi varieties as possible. They offer classic selections alongside more unique creations you don’t typically find in standard buffet spreads.
It was my first time trying marinated crab, and it was absolutely delicious. The wide array of sushi options was so tempting that I ended up filling my plate multiple times, without even exploring the other buffet section.
Overall, Dining One offers a unique and satisfying buffet experience in Seoul. I highly recommend it for big eaters and anyone who loves sushi, maki rolls, sashimi, and fresh seafood.
Tip: Dining One easily gets packed, go as early as possible to avoid queues.
