C.P.S. Coffee Roaster is a self-roasting coffee brand by C.P.S. Chaps, a local fashion brand in Bangkok. C.P.S. stands for Coffee, Passion and Specialty. The coffee shop started in 2019 and has since grown to more than 10 branches across Bangkok as of this writing.

The branch we visited was at ICONSIAM. The coffee shop has a modern design, with black and white interiors, copper accents, and yellow lighting that give the place a more sophisticated feel.

Aside from coffee and matcha drinks, C.P.S. Coffee Roaster also offers mains, sandwiches, pastries and desserts to you can pair with your drink.

We didn’t really know much about C.P.S. Coffee Roaster before visiting. Since it’s a coffee roaster, we were expecting at least a good cup of coffee. While checking the menu, we noticed their Dirty Series, which seemed to be one of their specialties. We decided to try the Banana Bliss (150 Baht), a drink inspired by a local Thai dessert.

We also ordered a Cold Brew, which is steeped for 16 hours. The 16oz costs 120 Baht.

The drinks we tried at C.P.S. Coffee Roaster were good, the coffee had a strong but wasn’t overpowering. The Banana bliss was probably the highlight for me. It wasn’t just another trendy coffee combination. It was thoughtfully made and surprisingly delicious. It definitely exceeded what I was expecting.

Overall, C.P.S. Coffee Roaster stood up to our expectations. The only thing I noticed is that the Dirty Series comes in only one serving size, and I found the portion a little small. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend C.P.S. Coffee Roaster. If you’re into coffee and looking for a coffee shops to try in Bangkok, I think C.P.S. is worth adding to your list, especially if you’re already visiting ICONSIAM.

Recommendation: Try the Dirty Series drinks

Tip: I’ve read that C.P.S. Coffee Roaster’s flagship store has a more Instagram-worthy design and offers a more unique experience. If you have the time, it might be worth checking out their flagship branch too.
