Kha Moo Boran is a local Thai food stall, which originated from Kathu, Phuket, specializing in stewed pork legs. It has been Michelin-recognized for several years already. The good thing is, you don't have to travel all the way to Phuket to try it. Kha Moo Boran has a branch at Parkside Market in Dusit Central Park, so you can enjoy their famous stewed pork legs right in Bangkok.
While Kha Moo Boran is best known for its stewed pork legs, they also serve other local dishes from Phuket.
For this experience, we ordered a Stewed Pork Trotters Rice Meal. A medium order costs 180 Baht and it comes with generous portions of pork served over a rice, along with two kinds of veggies on the side.
We only got to try one dish, so we barely scratched the surface of what Kha Moo Boran has to offer. But based on what we tried, I think this is a great option if you are looking for an authentic Thai dish that’s delicious, filling and reasonable priced.
Recommendation: Stewed Pork Legs
Tip: If this is your first time trying a food court in Bangkok, Thailand, best to buy from different food stalls to maximize your experience. If this is your first time exploring a food hall in Bangkok, try ordering from different food stalls instead of getting everything from one place. This way, you can sample more dishes and make the most of your food trip
