VE/LA is a specialty coffee chain in Bangkok known for its creative coffee and tea drinks. VE/LA’s color concept is inspired by the different times of the day, from the warm colors of sunrise to the vibrant shades of sunset. The idea is not just about creating something pleasing to the eye, but also about bringing a certain taste and feeling to every drink.
As of this writing, VE/LA has several branches around Bangkok and two international branches, one in London and another in Singapore. The branch we visited was at Dusit Central Park.
VE/LA offers more than the usual coffee options. They specialize in unique coffee and matcha drinks. They also expanded to coffee beans, capsules, drip box and more.
One of my go-to coffee drink is Orange Coffee, so when I saw VE/LA had their own version, I knew I had to try it. Their version is called Sunny Cold Brew, which costs 160 Baht.
I really enjoyed that it had a nice balance between the coffee and orange, making it a refreshing drink, especially on a hot day in Bangkok.
Based on this drink alone, I can say that VE/LA serves quality coffee and isn't just about the hype or the colorful presentation. Aside from the taste, I think what makes VE/LA interesting is the overall experience. For me, VE/LA is one of the coffee shops worth trying when you're in Bangkok, especially if you're looking for something different from the usual coffee drinks.
Recommendation: If you’re into cold brew, I highly recommend trying their Sunny Cold Brew.
Tip: : From what I’ve read, VE/LA has an exclusive menu available only at their flagship store, so it’s worth checking out.
