I’ve been using GoPro as my action camera since 2013, and this is my first time trying a 360 camera. I chose Insta360 X5 because it is one of the most popular 360 cameras and is known for its signature invisible selfie stick. Since this is my first time using a 360 camera, I bought the essential bundle. This review will be from the perspective of a first-time 360 camera user and a beginner with Insta360. Starting my review with the unboxing of Insta360 X5. The Insta360 X5 essential bundle comes with the main camera, which can shoot 8K 360 videos, performs well in low light because of its triple AI chip, features a FlowState Stabilization + 360 Horizon Lock and is waterproof up to 49 ft. (15m).
Insta360 X5 captures every possible angle into a single shot solving the issue regarding framing, retakes and missed moments.

Most of the items mentioned above fit inside the Insta360 Carry case. This compact case is great for travel or if you are packing light. It also has an external pocket that can fit the 114cm invisible selfie stick.
Another practical feature is the replaceable lens, ensuring you can keep using your camera even if the lens gets damaged.
In summary, the Insta360 X5 can shoot 8k 360 videos, known for its signature invisible selfie stick, waterproof for up to 49ft, performs well in low light environment and has an insane stabilization technology. But for me, the most important feature is the shoot first and frame later concept. For a travel vlogger like me, its the ideal camera for a run-and-gun shooting style.
